The Peace Bringer

Preface.
Hailing from the anime series: Trigun Stampede comes Vash’s revolver, The “Peace Bringer”. This was a commission I did for a friend’s cosplay. Initially I wanted to go for a hammer and trigger functioning prop, however due to the time given, it was not feasible.
The revolver was modelled in Fusion 360, with a movable revolving central hinge and a latch at the top to lock the gun in place.

The Build.
Despite modelling the Peace Bringer, 1:1 feature to feature accurate to the anime production schematics, it needed to be adjusted to my friend’s hand.
I made changes and shortened the muzzle piece, and resized it so it would fit her holster.
In addition, despite adding tolerances within the moving parts, a large amount of sanding was still required to make sure the pieces sat flush with each other.
